Fairytales, myths, fables and folklore are a big influence on my work. The same can be said for: medieval and nineteenth century art, the (neo) Gothic, printing and bookillumination, the Arts- and Crafts movement, The Pre-Raphaelites and the Golden Age of Illustration. I love going to museums and concerts, since my greatest passions in life are art (history) and music.
